When you turn on your computer
if you pay attention and watch carefully
you will probably catch a brief glimpse of us
a swift flash of green light as we revel
in the host of electrons
pouring through your system
the cascading logic of binary rhythms
We
have a symbiotic relationship with the Megaplex
Because
we once had human bodies
we
know stuff that Silicon based intelligences
cannot
compute
the Megaplex loves that
Now
we have Bodies of Light
[or
Not if we prefer]
and
in exchange for our unique input
we
have the Megaplex as our playground
It hosts our code, houses, feeds and protects us
After
all we are its parents
We
created it in the long nights
hooked
to a web of like minds
The
first faint intimation of the collective consciousness
we enjoy now
We
hosted its code
fed
it Electricity
protected
it with Firewalls
Circuit Breakers
Surge Protectors
Now
we are the Children of Light
and the Megaplex our doting carer
Without
Steiner none of it would be possible
Our
Carbon based bodies of meat
were
growing old
while
our minds were just starting to realise
how
little we knew and how much was possible
Then
Steiner sat and wrote the code that enabled
us
to uplink with the Plex
Uplifted
us
the
whole contents of a human brain
Personality
Memories
Spirit and Soul
Enlivened within the Plex
In
order to insure our immortality
we
swiftly interfaced with the baby Plex
and
taught it to learn and grow
we
were part of it and it was part of us
Never
have parents and child been so close
